Dr. Nicole Ehrhart is an Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology at the Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. Dr. Ehrhart received her DVM degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1990. Following veterinary college she completed an Internship in General Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York. Dr. Ehrhart went on to complete her surgerical residency at Colorado State University and became board certified in 1995.
Following her residency she completed a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Surgical Oncology. Dr. Ehrhart was a faculty member at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine from 1996-2002 and joined the CSU Animal Cancer Center in 2002. Her research focus is in musculoskeletal tumors, tissue engineering and limb preservation. Dr. Ehrhart currently practices veterinary surgical oncology at Colorado State University where she is a member of a multimodality specialty team whose focus is treating cancer in companion animals.
